thanks...i'm holding 3k of HOKU now for that LLC account | by pinoytrader at 1:40pm

do you mind telling me more about this account? i used to manage a small hedge fund too. | by stewie1 at 1:41pm

sure...it's a partnership account with a very small starting capital $17K+ last sept of 2007...I always have 2 accounts...my main account and 1 small account that I open with 20K and close when it grows to a certain amount. I do this to keep my instincts and focus sharp because small accounts make you do this | by pinoytrader at 1:43pm

agree about trading small accounts. well keep up the great work bro. | by stewie1 at 1:47pm

thanks | by pinoytrader at 1:48pm

Pinoy...very interesting point you bring up about small accounts. For some reason whenever I get to dollar amount X, I seem to have trouble making more money and I can't figure out why. It seems that when I have a smaller amount of cash...say 40-50K I do a lot better and my account grows quickly. What is the problem here? Thoughts? | by piktrader at 1:55pm

Smaller accounts forces you to zone in and be selective...big account usually gives you a lot of breathing room so more room for error | by pinoytrader at 1:58pm

i also think that trading smaller size makes me let emotional. | by stewie1 at 2:01pm

that is exactly what happened to me when I moved to remata, more capital, more room for error. | by ragincajun at 2:03pm
